Anastasia Storer - violin
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Anastasia has performed with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Orchestra, the National Repertory Orchestra, the Wheeling Symphony, and the Sunflower Music Festival. As a soloist, she has collaborated with Duquesne University’s Contemporary Ensemble twice this year, on one occasion performing David Stock’s “The Philospher’s Stone” for Pittsburgh’s U3 Festival.
Stacey holds a degree in Music Education and Performance from Duquesne University, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree at Carnegie Mellon University under the tutelage of Andrés Cárdenes. Her prominent teachers have also included Rachel Stegeman and Sally Thomas. In addition to tango & new music, Stacey enjoys playing in CMU’s Baroque Ensemble and Graduate Quartet.
This is Stacey’s third year with Tangueros de Ley, and though she cannot deny being the only American in the quintet, she would like to consider herself an honorary Argentinean.

Daniel Rectenwald - guitar
Daniel Rectenwald holds a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Duquesne University . He has been playing guitar since age12 and began his classical training at age 13 under the mentorship of Daniel Marchan. It was Marchan who sparked Rectenwald’s love for Classical, Jazz, and Latin American music. Rectenwald studied with Marchan's former teacher Thomas Kikta at Duquesne University where he embarked on a career as a solo and ensemble guitarist. Daniel has also had the opportunity to study with the great pedagogue Aaron Shearer along with performing in master classes with artists such as Ana Vidovic. In April 2005, Daniel worked personally with guitarist Sharon Isbin during her performance with the Pittsburgh Symphony.

Marco Sartor - guitar
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Marco Sartor studied guitar with Robert Ravera and Mario Paysee at the School of Music, University of Uruguay and later with Eduardo Fernandez. He moved to the United States in 2001on a full scholarship to study at the School of the Arts, College of Charleston, under the direction of Marc Regnier, receiving his B.A. and Artist Certificate.
Marco has been awarded top prizes in more than ten competitions in North and South America including First Prizes in the 2002 Schadt String Competition, 2003 Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Artists Competition and 2004 Appalachian GuitarFest Competition and most recently the 2006 Texas Guitar Competition. He performed in Pittsburgh, New Orleans, San Diego, Miami, Salt Lake City, Long Island, Dallas, Buffalo and others. The Allentown Symphony Orchestra featured him in its 2003-04 season. Marco has also given recitals, masterclasses and appeared in radio and television broadcasts throughout Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay. In recognition to his artistic merits, Marco has been elected a member of the Hispanic Society Sigma Delta Pi and the Honor Societies Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key. He has also taught at the Charleston Academy of Music.
Marco is currently pursuing his Master Degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, under the direction of James Ferla. Plans for 2006 include -in addition to continuing his solo career- duo projects with guitarist Marc Regnier and countertenor Jose Lemos.

Ernesto Contenti- accordion/voice
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ernesto moved to the United States in the early 70’s. At the age of 18 he was a recording artist with RCA Argentina, with his combo “Los Isleros”. Ernesto performed with “Los Isleros” next to celebrities such as Armando Manzanero, José Feliciano, Sandro, Palito Ortega and many others. Once in the United States, Ernesto Conti drifted away from music for several years to become a print media and publishing consultant. In Miami, Florida, he presided the Club Argentino of Miami for two years. Most recently, Ernesto presided and sang as a tenor with the Latin American Choir of Pittsburgh, was a member of the Andean Music ensemble “Musuhallpa”. Ernesto plays accordion, sings, and has a love for percussion instruments. .

Enrique Bernardo - piano
Enrique Bernardo, winner of the Steinway Concert Society of Western Pennsylvania (2005), the Pittsburgh Concert Society (2005) and a 3rd Place (special award) at the Varna International Piano Festival and Competition in Varna, Bulgaria (2005), was born in Lima, Peru in 1980.
